A side-by-side comparison of the predecessor UM3X vs Shure SE846.
We transferred all customer product reviews from the predecessor UM3X-RC over to the page of the new UM PRO 30 due to the similar configuration (3-way crossover, triple drivers). The new UM PRO 30 now includes a new and improved braided cable for audio only, featuring a soft arch that goes behind the ear. During A/B tests between the UM3X-RC and the UM PRO 30, we can assure you there is a big upgrade in sound quality thanks in part to newly-updated drivers, different 3-way crossover tuning, drivers placement (which can impact sound) and new shell acoustics. All customer reviews dated before December 5, 2013 are for the predecessor UM3X-RC model. All customer reviews posted after December 5, 2013 are for the new UM PRO 30.
